Zambia’s leading producer of medical uniforms for our men and women in the health sector. The company is looking for highly motivated personnel to fill the following position below.

TAILORS X12

Responsibilities The tailor will be responsible for actually producing a product in the production line.

*Qualifications*
-Grade 12 certificate or it’s equivalent
Note: Experience will highly be considered
– Good communication skills – Neat work output .

Key Responsibilities.
1. *Taking Measurements*: Take accurate body measurements of customers to create custom-fit garments.
2. *Pattern Making*: Create patterns and designs for garments, considering factors like fabric, style, and fit.
3. *Fabric Selection*: Choose suitable fabrics for garments, considering factors like quality, texture, and color.
4. *Cutting and Sewing*: Cut and sew fabrics according to patterns and designs, using various sewing techniques and equipment.
5. *Alterations and Repairs*: Make alterations and repairs to existing garments, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, and fixing tears.
6. *Fitting and Quality Control*: Conduct fittings with customers to ensure a perfect fit, and inspect garments for quality and defects.
7. *Customer Service*: Provide excellent customer service, including advising on fabric selection, garment style, and fit.

Additional Responsibilities
1. *Maintaining Equipment*: Maintain and clean sewing machines, scissors, and other equipment.
2. *Managing Supplies*: Manage fabric, thread, and other supplies, including ordering and inventory management.
3. *Keeping Records*: Keep records of customer orders, measurements, and alterations.
4. *Staying Up-to-Date*: Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, techniques, and technologies.
5. *Working with Team*: Work collaboratively with other tailors, seamstresses, and fashion designers to achieve common goals.

Location: Lusaka
